About Garlicly

Garlicly is an independent publication about garlic: how to grow it well, what the supplement research actually shows, and how to use it in the kitchen.

We write for home gardeners in USDA zones 3–9 — people with a bed, a raised box, or a few pots, who need to know when to plant in their zone and what usually goes wrong. Growing guides are built from field notes and published horticultural guidance: planting dates checked zone by zone, depth and spacing measured rather than copied, and results from real beds and containers.

About the name on our articles. Qiu Xiaodong is the pen name used by the Garlicly editorial team. Every guide is researched against primary sources and reviewed before publishing. We do not present invented experts, and we do not claim credentials we cannot show.

Supplement articles are built from primary research and label audits, and they are separated from our commercial relationships. We do not accept paid placements: products appear in a guide because they performed, not because a merchant paid for the spot. Where we earn a commission it is disclosed on the page and linked in the footer.

Corrections are welcome and get dated updates. Write to us through the contact page, and read our editorial policy for how we research, review, and correct.
